Do I need a referral?

  • For wellness visits there is no referral needed at all!

  • For standard physical therapy such as post operative, you can see a physical therapist for 30 days without a referral. After the initial 30 days, a referral will be needed to continue rehabilitation for an injury.

How many visits will I be seen for?

  • Most plans of care will be set for 1-2 visit per week for 4-6 weeks. However, since we cater to you and your needs, any frequency can be agreed upon. I can see you once a month as well if that fits your schedule.

How should I prepare for my visit?

  • Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes and tennis shoes/sneakers so it is easy for you to move.

Do you take insurance?

  • I do not. All clients are “out of network” and are self paying.

What types of payment do you accept?

  • Venmo, cash, credit/debit card, Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account, check.

Where are you located?

  • I am located in Saint Petersburg, FL. However, as long as you live in Pinellas County I can work with you.

What is mobile cash pay physical therapy and why is it the best choice for you?

There are several reasons why this option might be the best option for you.

  1. I’m mobile! I will come to you when it fits your schedule. Can’t get out of work to make it to the regular PT clinics? Have small children you need to take care of? Want to do weekend appointments? No worries, we will meet on your terms!

  2. High-quality, 1-on-1 care with a licensed professional that will cater to your needs. No more 30-60 minute appointments where you are scheduled with 2-3 other patients at the same time and get 15 minutes with your therapist. This is just me and you for 60 minutes (or other agreed upon time).

  3. Transparency. There are no co-pays, no hidden fees and no extra bills coming your way. The price you see is the price you pay. No surprises.

  4. Frequency of visits on your terms. Many regular PT clinics will push for 2-3 visits per week (this is a mandate from corporate and nothing us PTs actually want to do). I can see you twice a week, once a week, every other week or any frequency that fits your schedule.

  5. Cheaper! In many cases, paying cash can be significantly cheaper than attending regular PT. Since regular PT is 2-3 times per week, it can get pricy. Not only does this mean a co-pay of 30-50 dollars per visit, it also adds billing your insurance. If you have not met your deductible, you are looking at 200-300 dollars per visit, something you will receive as a bill in the mail. In regular PT, counting co-pays only, you are looking at an average $80-120 per week and that does not take into account the bill you might receive if you have not met your insurance deductible. So, in many cases, cash PT can be cheaper than regular PT at a corporate clinic.

  6. Have an FSA/HSA account? A lot of employers will provide their employees with the option of an HSA/FSA account that can be used for these types of services. You can use this to pay!

  7. No visit limitations! Regular insurance will start denying PT visits somewhere between 6 and 12 visits regardless of where you are in your recovery. With this model of care, you do not have to think about this at all. The transfer from regular to wellness visits is seamless.

  8. Wellness visits. You are not injured anymore but feel like you might need a “tune up” every now and then? You are always welcome to contact me for treatment and advice to stay injury free and healthy!
